Condition Analysis of Induction Motors Based on Measurement of Stator Parameters

The project is intended to develop a specific software for the analysis of signals measured on power supply of high power induction motors. TES in cooperation with the Department of Theoretical and Experimental Electrical Engineering (DTEE) and the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication (FEEC) of the University of Technology in Brno (BUT) addressed the requirements for complex and non-destructive diagnostics of technical state of motors that can be performed under continuous operation without necessity to shut down the motor. The software is considered to be a key element of the diagnostic method allowing periodic monitoring with the aim to analyse the technical condition of the motor within predictive maintenance and service life management. The software together with measuring equipment will be used regularly to provide analysis of high power induction motors at nuclear and fossil-fuel plants or other industrial enterprises. The project is co-finance by the European Union under the Operational Programme Enterprise and Innovations for Competitiveness.
