On Monday, April 7, 2025, the 16th European MELCOR and MACCS User Group meeting (EMUG16) was officially opened at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Communication of Brno University of Technology. TES is proud to be a co-organizer of this important technical event. This year’s meeting brings together 65 nuclear safety experts from across Europe, including two participants from South Korea, who are involved in international research collaboration on severe accident analysis. The participants were welcomed by Professor Jaroslav Koton, Vice-Dean of Brno University of Technology, and by Martin Blaha, Head of the Nuclear Safety Section at TES. The program continues throughout the week with expert presentations, user experience sharing, and a technical visit to the Dukovany Nuclear Power Plant.
